OMAHA (DTN) -- Following its annual Midwest Crop Tour, Pro Farmer expects a U.S. corn crop of 14.093 billion bushels and a soybean crop of 3.812 billion bushels, according to a news release from the firm.

Average corn yield is estimated at 169.3 bushels per acre, while soybeans are expected to average 45.35 bpa.

In corn, a margin of error of plus or minus 1% puts the range of production at 14.233 billion bushels to 13.952 billion bushels on a yield range of 171 bpa to 167.6 ...
