Senate Farm Bill Released

WASHINGTON (DTN) -- While the Senate Agriculture Committee was waiting to finish bullet points before releasing its initial draft of the farm bill, known as the chairman's mark, the bill language nonetheless became public Thursday.

DTN political correspondent Jerry Hagstrom released the bill language in The Hagstrom Report, stealing some thunder from Committee Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., in the process. Stabenow named the bill the "Agriculture Reform, Food and Jobs Act of 2013."
