WASHINGTON (DTN) -- House members rejected tighter caps on government crop insurance subsidies and approved changes to the current dairy program Thursday morning as they plowed through a marathon session of voting on amendments in an attempt to pass a farm bill by the end of the day.

Thursday sets up as the final, critical test of whether the House can pass a farm bill with Republicans divided over regional differences in agricultural policies.
