GLAUBER SAYS GRAIN MARKETS MAY HAVE MISJUDGED SITUATION IN UKRAINE

USDA Chief Economist Joe Glauber says he believes world grain markets may have reacted prematurely earlier this week to the crisis caused by Russia's intervention in Ukraine. On Monday, wheat futures climbed to their highest level since early December and corn hit a fresh five-month high on concerns that exports from Ukraine and Russia could be disrupted or affected by possible economic sanctions.
