EU, CANADA SIGN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT; U.S. FALLING BEHIND

Canada and the European Union signed a free trade agreement last Friday that reportedly will give Canadian cattle and hog producers significantly greater access to EU consumers, of which there are more than 500 million. The agreement still must be approved by the European Parliament and by Canada's provincial governments.
