Dirt Resonates With Farmers

SALINA, Kan. (DTN) -- Geologist and author David Montgomery has found his speaking schedule filling more and more with farm groups wanting to hear his take on global soil erosion and the possible solutions.

Earlier this month he was in North Dakota speaking to farmers. On Wednesday, Montgomery was in Salina talking to farmers at the No-Till on the Plains conference.

"In the last year or two I have been asked a lot more to talk to agricultural groups about 'Dirt,' " he said
