Wind Tax Credit Faces Deadline

OMAHA (DTN) -- A bipartisan group of federal lawmakers joined veterans who work in the wind industry Wednesday in calling on Congress to renew the tax credit.

Backers argue the 2.2-cent per-kilowatt Wind Production Tax Credit has sparked the development of an industry that employs tens of thousands of workers and has been a good investment for many U.S. farmers.
