'Gluten-Free' a New Food Marketing Buzzword

The portion of U.S. households reporting purchases of gluten-free food products more than doubled between 2010 and the beginning of this year, according to a poll by Nielsen that was reported by the New York Times. And a major market research company now estimates that gluten-free sales of around $10.5 billion last year in the United States could exceed $15 billion by 2016.
