Congressional Appropriations Panels Plan to Introduce Omnibus Spending Package in January

Senate and House appropriators are putting together a 12-bill omnibus spending package and will be working on the legislation over the holiday break, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., told reporters this week.
