Administration Officials Promote Trade Agreement During Visit to Japan

Vice President Biden and U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman have scheduled meetings in Japan this week where both say that negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement will be high on the agenda.

Froman meets today with senior Japanese officials to discuss the TPP negotiations and other regional and multilateral issues before traveling to Vietnam and Malaysia prior to attending the annual World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference that begins tomorrow in Bali, Indonesia. ...
