EPA's Five-Year Plan Could Provoke Additional Scrutiny

The Environmental Protection Agency this week issued a draft five-year plan that lists the agency's top priorities for fiscal 2014 through 2018. These include: reducing greenhouse gas emissions, implementing adaptation strategies for dealing with the effects of climate change, protecting water bodies, cleaning up communities and promoting sustainable development, ensuring chemical safety, preventing pollution, and ensuring compliance and enforcing existing laws.
