TPP Talks Not Yet Focused on Currency Issues

Members of Congress and a number of U.S. manufacturing officials have been pressing the Obama administration to address currency manipulation concerns during the continuing Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade talks. Unfortunately, the U.S. government shutdown caused President Obama to cancel his planned trip to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting in Bali, Indonesia, where TPP leaders met earlier this week.
