OMB Reviewing Renewable Fuels Standard

True to its word, the Environmental Protection Agency is moving regulations that will govern next year's national renewable fuels standard more rapidly than in the past. Last week, EPA sent its proposed 2014 RFS volume mandates to the White House Office of Management and Budget for review, with an eye toward issuing the regulations by the Nov. 30 deadline, rather than nine months late, as the agency did this year.
