House to Consider Farm Bill, Sans SNAP, This Week

House GOP leaders Tuesday decided to bring the 2013 farm bill to the floor this week minus the contentious issues of food stamp funding and reform. However, the decision to split the legislation into farm and nutrition sections is itself controversial.
