SENATE TO STRIVE MIGHTILY TODAY ON FARM BILL

The Senate today resumes debate of the 2013 farm bill, an exercise that Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., wants to wrap up with a final vote early this evening. Just how the floor managers plan to dispense with the many amendments waiting in the wings before the hoped-for 5:30 p.m. final vote remains to be seen.
