Committees to Explore Causes of Increased Gasoline Prices

The price that gasoline blenders pay for the renewable identification numbers that accompany each gallon of ethanol produced has risen significantly in recent weeks, and the chairmen of the committees of jurisdiction in both chambers of Congress plan to investigate why this has happened and what its effect have been on gasoline prices.
