Crop Insurance Fraud Gains a Higher Profile

The Associated Press this week carried a story about continuing investigations and arrests in North Carolina, where dozens of insurance agents, claims adjusters, brokers and farmers reportedly have defrauded USDA of at least $100 million in phony crop insurance claims.
