House Bill Would Lock in Sequester Spending Cuts

The House leadership brought to the floor a continuing resolution (CR) on Wednesday that would carry government spending through to the end of the 2013 fiscal year, and also lock in the $85 billion in spending cuts mandated by the sequestration process. The House approved the measure 267-151.
