Biden's Comments on Free Trade Agreement a Cause for Optimism in Europe

Vice President Joe Biden recently mentioned that reaching a free trade agreement with the European Union is a priority for the Obama administration, a position that was much welcomed in Brussels. This week, the foreign ministers of the European Union expressed cautious optimism about reaching a bilateral trade pact with a number of countries, with the United States the top priority, based in part on Biden's comments.
