Federal Court Upholds EPA's Decision to Allow E-15

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit this week denied requests from food, petroleum and engine manufacturing organizations to rehear lawsuits challenging an Environmental Protection Agency decision to increase the amount of ethanol allowed in gasoline for newer automobiles. The court had dismissed the lawsuits for lack of standing in a 2-1 decision in August.
