Cotton futures posted triple-digit closing gains in old-crop deliveries Wednesday after trading in the green throughout the session.

Spot May settled up 112 points to 91.04 cents, a six-session high close and near the high of the day's 117-point range from up 14 points at 90.06 to up 131 points at 91.23 cents.

Most-active July closed up 128 points to 92.57 cents, also near the high of its 120-point range from 91.50 to 92.70. December settled up 46 points to 81.36 cents after printing a new high for the move at 81.73.
