Cotton futures rallied from a shallow early morning dip to snap a six-session losing streak, basis most-active December, with a sharply higher finish Tuesday.

December settled up 177 points to 84.95 cents, five ticks off the high of its 195-point range from down 13 points at 83.05 cents to up 182 points to 85 cents. Maturing July closed up 211 points at 85.09 cents and March settled up 100 points to 83.50 cents.

Volume was an estimated 17,200 lots, little changed from 17,286 lots the previous session when spreads totaled 2,979 lots or 17%, EFP 65 lots and EFS 12 ...
