Spot ethanol prices were talked mixed along the West Coast Friday, with a deal done in Phoenix, Ariz., at $2.87 per gallon, down 3.0 cents, while northern California prompt delivered product was quoted at a $2.87 to $2.91 gallon bid/ask, up 4.5 cents.

"I suspect we are in a temporary reshuffling as interested parties readjust their hedging positions," said a trader. "It's not from excess product, for sure."
