U.S. Ethanol Stocks Rise

NEW YORK (DTN) -- Domestic fuel ethanol inventories rebounded from record lows last week, rising 200,000 bbl to 15.2 million bbl during the week-ended Nov. 1 as demand fell, according to data released this morning by U.S. Energy Information Administration. Despite the weekly stock build, total U.S. ethanol supply is 3.0 million bbl or 16.4% lower than a year earlier.

Stocks in PADD 2 Midwest and along PADD 1 East Coast climbed 100,000 bbl and 300,000 bbl, respectively, to 5.2 million bbl apiece. PADD 3 Gulf Coast stocks also increased 100,000 bbl to 2.7 million, while PADD 5 West Coast ...
