U.S. Ethanol Supply Rebounds

NEW YORK (DTN) -- Total ethanol supply in the United States rebounded from a three-year low, rising 400,000 bbl or 2.3% to 16.4 million bbl during the week-ended May 31, the Energy Information Administration reported Wednesday.

U.S. ethanol supply at 16.4 million bbl is down 4.8 million bbl or 22.5% from a year ago.

Ethanol production at U.S. plants rose 22,000 bpd or 2.5% to 885,000 bpd last week, while down 2.1% from a year earlier, the data showed.

Regionally, ethanol inventories were flat at 5.6 million bbl in PADD 1 East Coast and at 300,000 bbl in PADD 4 ...
