STREATOR, Ill. (DTN) -- Iowa lawmakers passed an extension of tax credits last week for gasoline containing 15% ethanol and for the first 25 million gallons of output at an individual biodiesel production plant.

The bill has advanced to Iowa Governor Terry Branstad, R, for signing.

Senate File 2344 was amended and passed by the Iowa House in a 96 to 2 vote Apr. 23 and the Iowa Senate passed the amended bill 48-0 on Thursday, April 24.
