Greenleaf Biofuels Connecticut Plant Reaches 1M Gallons

OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) -- Greenleaf Biofuels, LLC, said, as of Oct. 31, its biofuel plant in the Port of New Haven, Conn., produced its one millionth gallon of biodiesel, which would primarily be blended into the region's heating oil supply.

"We are extremely proud to have achieved this production milestone," said Gus Kellogg, founder and chief operating officer of Greenleaf. "Our team has worked tirelessly over the last six months to commission the plant and scale production."
