NEW YORK (DTN) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Thursday the draft proposal for 2014 volume obligations under the Renewable Fuel Standard is currently undergoing interagency review.

"EPA will issue the proposal and seek public comment shortly after the review is completed," an official with EPA said.

DTN had sought comment from the EPA during the government's partial shutdown on a leaked document that suggested the EPA might reduce the mandated volume under the RFS for 2014, known as the Renewable Volume Obligation.
