NASHVILLE, Tenn. (DTN) -- What is a "sustainable hamburger?" No one really knows yet. But when a multi-billion corporation like McDonald's announces it will begin buying sustainable beef within the next two years, it becomes a question with a potentially huge price tag attached.

In an interview with DTN at the National Cattlemen's Beef Association's annual meeting in Nashville, Tenn., McDonald's Corporation's Bob Langert said the company wants to begin buying sustainable beef by 2016.
