Milk production in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states showed a significant increase over the past week. Bottling demand is steady while cheese production is increasing. There is sufficient capacity for higher milk volumes with no problem anticipated during the spring flush period of time. Florida continues send increasing volumes of milk out of the state. There were 180 loads sent out this week compared to 143 loads last week and 130 loads a year ago.
