There is quite a range in price for extra milk that is available in the Central region. Prices this week ranged from $1.50 below class to $2.50 above class. Price depends on area and competition. Some plants are looking for extra milk while others are not interested due to plant capacities already being stretched. Milk production remains varied across the country. Bottlers have not seen a rebound in demand with overall demand termed as a little sluggish. This is not causing any back-up in supply with milk moving to buyers easily.
