Slowly improving milk supply has done very little to satisfy all demand and level prices. Cheese buyers are worried over future milk production coming from California and the impact of the drought. They are also concerned that the brisk export pace will continue keeping supply tight and competition strong. Milk production remains slow to improve in the Central region of the country. Spring flush will vary across the nation as the weather pattern remains variable. Bottling demand has slowed somewhat seasonally while manufacturing demand is strong.
