More milk will be moving to balancing plants as well as manufacturing plants in order to find capacity over spring break when schools are closed. Spring flush will also be increasing milk output and milk receipts at the plant level. Whether this will increase milk supply enough to oversupply the market for a period of time or not will remain to be seen. The aspect to watch will be whether the price premiums that have been prevalent over class for quite some time will be eliminated or if plants start offering milk at a discount.
