Weather settled down this week for the first time in over two months. The result was increased milk production in much of the country. This had no impact on prices or demand with milk futures regaining what was lost early in the week and then some. Class I milk sales were a bit sluggish this week, pushing more milk over to manufacturing. The interesting aspect of this is that many manufacturers continue to keep production close to demand resulting in an unwillingness to purchase extra milk for manufacturing.
