Milk production in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states continues to improve. Bottling demand is slowing shifting more milk to manufacturing. This is reportedly increasing supply, but not yet to the extent of having any significant impact on milk price. Production in Florida increased with 140 loads needing to be sent out of the state. This compared to 70 loads last week and 70 loads a year ago. Ice cream production is slow to develop due to the weather. This keeps more milk and cream looking for a home somewhere else. Class III milk futures posted double-digit gains through June. ...
