Most milk futures contracts followed through from Monday as traders followed the underlying barrel price lower. Current futures contracts show a significant discount to cash in anticipation of lower cash prices as the year progresses. Global Dairy Trade auction prices were mixed. Whole milk powder price declined 5.7% to $4,705mt, or $2.13 per pound. Skim milk powder declined 3.9% to $4,658mt, or $2.11 per pound. Anhydrous milk fat declined 3.5% to $5,126mt to $2.33 per pound.
