Milk production is following the pattern seen for some weeks now as weather hampers the usual increase in milk production during this time of year. A jump in overall production is expected once weather tempers and warmer weather patterns unfold. Extra milk continues to command a premium despite the desire of some manufacturers to sell milk and limit cheese production and keep from building plant inventories.
