Dairy Market News reports milk production to be increasing in most regions of the country except the Midwest. Milk supply is adequate except in Utah and Idaho where it is reported that demand is exceeding supply. The milk/feed ratio in January was 2.44, up from 2.30 last month. This is the highest ratio since January 2008. Record milk prices and stagnant grain prices continue to improve profitability. Corn price declined 4 cents to average $4.37.
