USDA raised their estimate for 2014 milk production on the World Supply and Demand report released Friday. They now project milk production to reach 205.6 billion pounds, up 2.1% from 2013. Higher prices are expected to increase milk production as dairy producers seek to take advantage of the higher prices. Commercial exports were raised 400 million pounds to 11.2 billion pounds while commercial use was reduced 700 million pounds to 197.1 billion pounds.
