Milk

Milk production in the northern tier of states has been mostly steady for this time of year due to cold weather while Southern states are seeing steady improvement. Greater milk supply was available to manufacturers the past two weeks, but this is slowing as bottling demand increases. Discounted milk is still available, but not with the discounts seen during the holidays. Class III futures jumped substantially with new highs made in the first half of the year contracts.
