Milk production is steady with many farms maintaining production as cold weather is limiting production growth. Fluid demand has been good, but tapering for school accounts as doors will soon be shuttered for about two weeks. Manufacturers are waiting with eagerness for the extra milk that will be available which may not contain the stiff premiums that have been prevalent in the market. Class III futures continue to hold buyer interest despite the weakness of barrel cheese price.
