Class III milk futures showed significant price movement in December through March contracts posting double-digit gains. Later contracts were moderately higher. December moved 3 cents above the November contract setting a new high for the year if prices are able to hold for another two weeks. November has finished trading with the Federal Order prices to be announced Wednesday. Global Dairy Trade auction prices were higher in all categories except cheddar cheese. Cheddar cheese price declined 1.5% from the previous event to a price of $4,501mt or $2.04 per pound. Whole milk powder settled at $5,035mt or $2.28 per ...
