It was a short week for dairy trading with futures market closed for the rest of the week. Trading will resume Sunday night at 5 p.m. Central Standard Time. Class III futures prices moved to close at new highs for contracts from December through August. December is now nearly half priced, but continues to benefit from price strength. Milk supply will be a bit heavier over the extended weekend to manufacturing facilities. This will be welcomed as tight supply has been a detriment to increasing production.
