Milk production and plant receipts are basically flat this week in many areas of the country. Production has surpassed the seasonal lows and should slowly improve as time progresses. Demand is good with increased milk supply over last year being used up quickly. Manufacturers will welcome the extra milk that will be available to them over the Thanksgiving holiday. Shipments of milk into Florida this week increased over last week. There were 70 loads sent into the state compared to 35 last week and no loads a year ago. Milk supply is sufficient to meet demand.
