Milk production continues to remain tighter than most would like. Manufacturers do not want to pay a premium for excess milk and as a result, manufacturing has been reduced. This gives the impression milk is tighter than it really is, but nevertheless demand is strong and many different bottlers and manufacturers are looking for extra milk. Bottling demand is slowing as the industry looks ahead to the upcoming holiday breaks. Milk production in Europe is doing well overall. Some countries are up substantially from last year.
