Milk

Milk production is slowly improving as the calendar moves forward. Cows are settling down to rations of stored feed and balanced rations for increasing milk production. Components are slowly improving as well. Class I demand is steady with little extra milk available for purchase outside of patron milk which manufacturers receive. Class II product production is strong and increasing to meet demand for the upcoming holidays. Dairy producers have a positive outlook for the foreseeable futures as a better milk/feed ratio and the outlook for reduced feed prices has brightened the future.
