Milk

Milk supply in the East is tight as bottling is active. Reduced milk production and good fluid demand leaves little extra milk available for manufacturing. Milk production and milk components are beginning to improve, but will take time to build supply and reduce price premiums required to purchase extra milk. Milk continues to be shipped into Florida with 178 loads going in this week compared to 117 a year ago.
