Market participants have been somewhat blind to milk production across the country the past three weeks due to the lack of regional reports from USDA. Information received from dairy farmers indicates milk production is steadily improving with components beginning to improve. The increase in milk production is a bit slower than usual and desired as a result of the hot weather experienced in much of the country in late August and early September.
