Fundamentals have not changed much in the market. Traders are looking for market direction, but are unable to find much which is keeping market movement to a minimum. Presently, there does not seem to be any catalyst for moving it one way or the other. The only correlation that can be made is that weakening corn price may affect milk price if production responds. This has been the historical pattern, but time will tell if the same will be true this year. The September milk/feed ratio improved to 1.86, the highest it has been since November 2011.
