Milk supply in the Northeast for manufacturing has declined as milk moves to bottling. Milk production remains fairly steady to lower, giving the impression of lower milk supply. However, supply is available, but tighter as there are numerous different areas pulling milk to meet bottling and manufacturing demand. The recent hot weather has affected milk production as well as sped up crop maturity.
